It goes both ways you see...

FRIGHTFULLY CRUEL

The frightful menace struck
The phantom's shadow fleeting
Loathsome tendrils of fear crept
Entwining up and into the heart
Of the bravest, surest soul.

One by one, each in it's time fell
Silent, swift, in cold blood done
Empty winds chilling
The form of lifeless being

And still lingering,
clinging to the darkest shadows
The burning coals of eyes watch
Cruel and cold

***********and the other way************

Cruel and cold
The burning coals of eyes watch
Clinging to the darkest shadows

And still lingering
The form of lifeless being
Empty winds chilling
Silent, swift, in cold blood done
One by one, each in it's time fell

Of the bravest, surest soul
Entwining up and into the heart
Loathsome tendrils of fear crept
The phantom's shadow fleeting,
The frightful menace struck

you see I could never really figure out wat poets say in thier poems ... even more so when their language was words I didn't know the meanings of ... so if you could tell me what it is you re trying to say that in this poem I would be able to enjoy your poetry all the more.

its kinda obvious what it says. i use EXTREMELY simple language in my poetry generally... but i understand sometimes its hard 2 understand.. im like tt i can barely grasp others poetry for the life of me. its describing a scene, and this creature thats destroyed everything by fear etc etc, and its still hanging around, after everythings destroyed, still watching. thats how it goes one way. the other way is just tt story told from a different angle. it starts off with the thing watching... and just sorta progresses...
    yeh. pretty much.
