Life is Short

The one person on this earth, to my knowledge
That loves me just as I am
Without the frills
The high-pitched trills,
Without the petty sham...

She sits right here,
I must surpress a tear
For walking down memory lanes old
Alone i´d felt,
A lesser card I´d been dealt
"You are nothing" I´d been regularly told.

But she, oh she,
So much better than me
Is awed by my "wonderous" self
I dont understand,
I´m not dealt a good hand,
But shes upped my own self wealth.

Im flawed in my eyes,
But she sees the better in me
Now allowing myself to loath
So thank you thank you,
for accepting me.
