Went out to the Emo park last night. They´re having all these spiffy things going on there... like last night for instance, there was supposed to be this whole gigantic dance troup... but it rained... so they decided to wait until the stage had dried, so that the precious dancers wouldnt fall and break their precious ankles or something.
So we waited. And waited. And danced a jig. And danced another jig. And chased Esy around at the stroke of midnight and sang Happy Birthday in the loudest off key voices we could muster. And shouted "pump it, LOUDER" In the best metal voices we could possibly come up with. Still no dancers.
So we sat about. And we went to look at the tent stalls who decided we were a bit too much entertainment for their poor peonish brains and consequently packed up and ran for the hills in the wake of our pumping it LOUDER. Except for the select few who turned up the radio and blasted the sterio loud. But we didnt have any money so soon they too got sick of us and packed up and ran for the hills.
So back to the Emo square (which isnt actually a square btw, its an oval). Still no dancers. So soon enough we got tired of looking at stuff, food, drinks, and cotton candy that we couldnt have (because of the fact that we ARE indeed poor missionaries just trying to have a good time) so we sat down (well, I did, and resulted in getting a wet wet bum) and waited some more for the foolish silly dancers with the weak ankles.
Just as they had finished mopping the stage (gosh it took them sooooo long), the lightning flashed, and the thunder rumbled... and it began to RAIIIIIIIIIIIIN!!! Gosh. A whoop and a howl and we were off to the van (we were worried Amelia would get too wet and wake up) And that was the end of our very wet endeavor to see weak ankled, pussy footed dancers who decided not to dance. gbt.
